Grown in the lush, coffee-rich region of Shantawene, Sidama, Buncho Daye Bensa coffee is a product of its environment. This particular lot is a blend of beans from local farmers and the renowned Gatta Farm. The coffee cherries are naturally processed at Buncho Station, which sits at a high elevation of 1920–2020 meters. The station's location benefits from a sunny, humid climate and significant rainfall, ranging from 1599–1799mm each year.
